I am a hand spinner, weaver and fiber artist specializing in hand woven rugs.

My interest in weaving began as an architecture student at Iowa State University when I designed a weaving studio as a project for a design class. I then took weaving classes at ISU to learn the basics and have expanded my knowledge through self study.

I enjoy all aspects of the process from raising the fiber animal, shearing, cleaning and preparing raw fleeces, to dyeing, spinning and weaving a finished piece. I enjoy experimenting with color and working with individuals to design a custom piece that coordinates with their home or office space.
